The heat treatment of G80 lifting chain

The quality of lifting chain mainly depends on the quenching and tempering temperature control, which need to be very precise.

Tempering: After the chain comes out of the water tank, it enters the tempering sensor at the original speed and heated once again (differential temperature tempering). When the temperature of the chain reaches 650 degrees Celsius, the chain leaves the sensor and cool down in the air. The purpose of tempering is to improve the plasticity of the chain. The quenching sensor and the tempering sensor are connected in series, and the chain is driven by motor.

Quenching: The chain is driven by a constant speed motor to the quenching sensor and is heated in the inductor to increase the temperature of the chain to 800-1000'C in tens of seconds. When the temperature of the chain link surface reaches a specified temperature, the chain is sprayed with water at the outlet of the inductor to cool,then enter the sink for further cool. The purpose of quenching is to increase the strength and hardness of the chain.

The heat treatment has a great influence on the quality of the lifting chain products.
